Paris MOU 2021 Performance Lists
The Paris MoU Committee approved at its 55th meeting the 2021 inspection results and adopted new performance lists for flag States and Recognized Organizations (ROs). These lists will take effect from the 1st of July 2022.
The “White, Grey and Black (WGB) List” presents the full spectrum, from quality flags to
flags with a poor performance that are considered high or very high risk.
Furetank’s dual-fuel tanker tests Equinor renewable fuel blend
Sweden-based shipping firm Furetank has announced that its dual-fuel tanker Fure Valö has undertaken the first voyage using Equinor’s new fuel blend that contains used cooking oil.The fuel blend, which contains used cooking oil, is claimed to cut down greenhouse gas emissions.
Transfer Process Tested to Start German LNG Imports at Lubmin
Testing is underway for the commissioning of Germany’s LNG import operations at the eastern port of Lubmin. Unlike the FSRU operations in the west, which began in December at Wilhelmshaven with financial support from the government, the eastern import operation is being privately funded and developed by Deutsche ReGas.

UAE prohibits ships from double banking without permission
The UAE Federal Maritime Administration (FMA) represented by the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure has issued a circular informing about the prohibition of ships double banking in UAE waters without a permit.
